The research of Joshua M. Thorpe, assistant professor in the Social and Administrative Sciences Division, was awarded a $100,000 R03 grant from the National Institute on Aging for a two-year project, “Potentially Inappropriate Medication Use in Persons with Dementia and Their Informal Caregivers.”

Pallavi Patwardhan, graduate student in the Social and Administrative Sciences Division, was a finalist for the postgraduate best paper podium award at the American Pharmacists Association annual conference in San Diego, California.

David Mott, Hammel/ Sanders Distinguished Chair in Pharmacy Administration and associate professor in the Social and Administrative Sciences Division, was elected a Fellow of the American Pharmacists Association Academy of Pharmaceutical Research and Science (APHA-APRS).
